Lake Charles & Southwest Louisiana
I'm Lynn Soram. Most people around here call me The CC Lady. For 21 years I've helped Louisiana business owners understand what they're actually paying to accept cards, then put them on a program that makes sense for how they sell.
Tell me a little about your business and I'll call you with a straight answer on what you're likely paying and where the room is. Nothing to dig up first, no cost, no obligation.
Dual pricing savings estimator
Move the slider to your monthly card volume and enter the rate you're paying now. Under dual pricing you pay one flat program fee instead of a percentage of every sale.
Ballpark numbers are fine. You don't need anything exact to see the shape of it.
Estimated, based on your monthly volume and processing rate.
At this volume the math depends on your card mix and ticket size. Give me a few details and I'll tell you straight whether switching is worth it, even if the answer is no.

What I handle
One person coordinating the whole setup, so you're not bounced between a salesperson, a gateway, and a support queue.
Credit, debit, EMV chip, tap-to-pay, and PIN debit. All set up on the pricing structure that fits how you sell.
Full point-of-sale for restaurants and retail, including table management, menus, inventory, and staff logins.
A line-by-line read of what you're paying now, including the fees that don't announce themselves.
Send an invoice or a pay-by-link so customers can settle up from a phone without calling in a card number.
Take payments from a browser, a website checkout, or over the phone with a virtual terminal.
Installation, staff training, and a direct number to call when something needs sorting out.
Terminals & POS
Counter, curb, or online all ready to go. The hardware should match the way money comes in, not the other way around.
Fast countertop terminals and full point-of-sale systems for restaurants, salons, and retail floors.
Handhelds and wireless readers for service calls, markets, food trucks, and anywhere the counter moves with you.
Key in phone orders, email an invoice, or take payments straight from your website checkout.
Pricing programs
Most processors sell one model and make every business fit it. Here you see the options side by side and choose with the numbers in front of you.
Two prices are displayed at the point of sale. A cash price and a card price. Card processing cost is carried in the card price, and you pay one flat program fee each month instead of a percentage of every sale.
Estimate your savings →Your posted price is the card price, and customers who pay cash receive a discount at the register. Simple to explain at the counter and popular with quick-service and retail.
Talk it through →A compliant fee is added to credit card transactions only, never to debit. Card brand rules and state limits apply, and I'll walk you through the disclosure requirements before you switch.
Check if it fits →You pay the card brands' published interchange plus a defined markup, so you can see exactly where each dollar goes on your statement. Best for higher-volume merchants who want full visibility.
See the breakdown →One rate across card types, so your statement is easy to read and your monthly cost is easy to forecast. Straightforward when volume is steady and tickets are small.
Compare to your rate →Tell me how your business takes payments and roughly what you run in a month. I'll walk you through which structure comes out ahead including when the answer is to stay where you are.
Ask me which fits →Industries served
Twenty-one years of portfolios across Southwest Louisiana and beyond, built one business at a time.
Table management, tabs, tips, and quick-service speed with POS that servers can learn in a shift.
Appointment-friendly checkout, tipping at the terminal, and clean reporting by stylist or chair.
Card-on-file for treatment plans, payment links for balances, and receipts patients can actually read.
Large-ticket handling, deposits, and parts-counter payments that don't stall the write-up.
Inventory-aware POS, fast tap-to-pay at the register, and equipment that holds up on a busy Saturday.
Virtual terminal, invoicing, and website checkout for businesses that never see a customer in person.
Why business owners switch
"Business owners don't need another sales pitch. They need to see what they're paying and understand why. Once that's clear, the right program picks itself."
Questions my customers ask me
If yours isn't here, call me and ask it directly...that's usually faster anyway!
We start with a conversation about how you take payments, roughly what you run in a month, and what's bothering you about your current setup. That's usually enough for me to tell you whether there's anything worth chasing.
If there is, a recent statement gets us to exact numbers and I'll model your business under each pricing structure. If switching makes sense, I handle the application, the equipment setup, and staff training. If it doesn't, I'll tell you that and you've lost nothing but a cup of coffee.
Two prices are displayed at the register. A cash price and a card price. The cost of accepting the card is carried in the card price, so instead of paying a percentage of every sale, you pay one flat program fee each month.
Customers who pay cash pay the lower price. Customers who pay by card pay the posted card price, the same way they already do at gas stations.
This is the fear I hear most, and it comes down to how it's presented. Signage at the door and at the register, a clear price on the receipt, and a staff that can explain it in one sentence covers almost every situation.
Dual pricing has been common in fuel, convenience, and quick service for years, so most customers recognize the format. I set the signage and the wording up with you before you go live.
Credit card surcharging is still allowed. Debit card surcharging is not. Act 751 took effect on August 1, 2026 and prohibits adding a fee because a customer paid by debit.
On top of the state law, the card brands set their own requirements for disclosure, receipt language, eligible card types, and fee caps. Getting all of it right is the whole job, and I go through the requirements that apply to your program before anything goes live.
Possibly. If your program adds a fee to credit cards only, and your equipment reliably keeps debit out of it, you may be fine. If your terminal treats every card the same way, you may be surcharging debit without intending to, which Act 751 no longer allows.
It takes a short look at your configuration to know which situation you're in. That's worth doing sooner rather than after a customer sends written notice.
Under the dual pricing program, the flat monthly program fee is $20. That's the number the calculator on this page uses.
Depending on your setup there can be other line items. Equipment, gateway access, and card brand pass-throughs are the usual ones. I'd rather show you every line before you sign than have you discover one on your first statement, so ask me and I'll lay them all out.
Sometimes it isn't, and I'll say so. At lower volumes the flat program fee can be close to what you're already paying in percentage fees, and the savings get thin.
That's exactly why the calculator switches to a "let's run your real numbers" message instead of showing you a made-up figure. Small merchants often do better on a different structure, and picking the right one is the point.
Not always. Some terminals can be reprogrammed and some can't, depending on the model and who it's locked to. Tell me what's sitting on your counter and I'll check before we go any further.
If new equipment is the right call, we match it to how you sell: a countertop system for a busy retail floor, a handheld for service calls and markets, a virtual terminal for phone and online orders.
Me. The same person who set you up is the person who answers, at (337) 540-5388. You're not opening a ticket and waiting for a callback from a support queue that's never heard of your business.
Because you'll see all five structures side by side against your own numbers before you choose. Dual pricing, cash discounting, surcharge, interchange, and flat rate each win in different situations, and I've been doing this for 21 years in a town small enough that a bad fit comes back to me.
Lake Charles and Southwest Louisiana are home, and being close enough to walk into a merchant's store is a real advantage. But I work with businesses beyond the area too, including ones that never see a customer in person and take everything online or over the phone.

Let's talk
You don't need to gather anything up front. A few details is enough for me to call you back with something useful and if you're already in a good spot, I'll tell you that too.
A few details and I'll reach out to set up a time that works. No statement required to get started.
